The poem titled ‘He/her’ talks about a man’s revelation of his
true self that is being a ‘trans’.
Upon realising it consciously he drapes ‘Sari’ around himself.
Sari is however associated to only beautify women but it must
be remembered that sari is just a fabric that beautifies
whomsoever. The man considers it to be his spiritual
achievement to accept ‘her’ that he’s been hiding. He was
moulded to be like a Man ignoring the ‘self’ desires. He fulfils
his lust of becoming what spiritually he deemed peaceful. The
feeling of such a transition is inexplicable for him that he finds
grammar (language) pronouns’ rules of being two-gendered-
bias. So his own identification as He/her is self-explanatory of
his own self. He is aware that his actions defy particular
societal narrow-minded behaviour but by accepting what he is
, he/her is truly a brave human in a world where like him are
considered cowards!
